Sandrine/ Easy Ink Blending Technique
Hi everyone, today I made my card with the embossing resist technique and watercoloring.
Amy made a few thechniques and cards about it and she inspired me with each method.
So I finally choose the embossing resist technique and added some watercoloring to finish my card
For this card , I used Engraved Flowers Stamps set from Altenew, Altenew Crisp Dye Ink Parrot and Lavender Fields and some Distress Ink by Ranger for watercoloring Dusty Concord and Crushed Olive
First of all, I stamped my big flower with leaves with versamark ink on a watercolor paper.I embossed the stamping image with white embossing powder.
For the next step, I applied with a blending tool by ranger some Parrot ink for the leaves and Lavender Fields for the flower.I outset the edges to make some ombrea effect.
Then I put some distress ink on my glass matt and spritzed some water .I used a watercolor brush to apply some ink on the flower and leaves.I diluted some ink and added some splashes in violet and green with distress ink.
To finish may card ,I stamped the sentiment "Life is beautiful with friend like you" from the same stamps set and added some crystal gems.
I put my panel on my with card base with faom tape.
And my card is finished.
Here are some close-up photos:
I hope you enjoy and that card inspire you.
Have a nice day
Sandrine
